Philippine Airlines is now providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to their cabin crew flying special flights to protect them against the Coronavirus Disease (CoviD-19). In a recent flight from London to Manila, PAL cabin crew were seen in full PPE which include a body suit, face shield, face mask, and gloves.
Prior to their flights, the flight crew also have to undergo disinfection procedures and have to go through health checks before boarding their flights. During a special send-off for the cabin crew flying PR720 and PR721 from Manila to London and back, the crew were briefed how to use the PPEs provided by the airline.
For the London to Manila flight, the cabin crew were seen in their PPEs welcoming and assisting passengers. Upon arrival in Manila, all crew members will be undergoing standard health and safety procedures.
