The Korean Air flight attendant who was diagnosed with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) was found to be asymptomatic or 'showing no signs of symptoms' while in Los Angeles (LA), the LA County Department of Public Health. The said flight attendant operated an LAX to Seoul Incheon flight utilizing an Airbus A380 before being diagnosed with the COVID-19.
Prior to operating the ICN-LAX-ICN flight, the cabin crew also serviced a flight from Tel Aviv to Incheon last February 15, South Korea’s Center for Disease Control reported. Authorities also added that a church group was on that flight and at least 30 of them were diagnosed with the COVID-19.
“The CDC confirmed the flight attendant did not develop symptoms until after departing L.A. County,” the L.A. Public Health announced last Friday.
South Korea now has 3,500 cases of COVID-19, the highest outside China.
