In my last meeting with Philippine Airlines President and COO Jaime J. Bautista, we did talk about the airline's goal and direction of becoming a 5-star airline. Though he did mention that becoming a 5-star carrier is indeed a very big challenge, it is very much possible for as long as forward steps are undertaken everyday, be it big or miniscule. It looks like everything is slowly paying off!
Air Asia, PAL Express, and Cebu Pacific Makes the Rankings at the Low Cost Category of Skytrax World Airline Awards
In the recent 2019 Skytrax World Airline Awards at the low-cost airline category, Air Asia was named as the World's Best Low Cost Airline while PAL Express was ranked #13! Though Air Asia's main headquarters are in Malaysia, it also has a subsidiary in the Philippines which is known as Philippines Air Asia. On the other hand, PAL Express was the former AirPhil Express being operated by Air Philippines.
Philippine Airlines is still in need of more flight attendants and stewards who can genuinely give their buong pusong alaga and ensure the safety of their passengers! Also, you may be based or domiciled either in their Manila or Cebu hub so just be ready for both. The last time PAL hired cabin crew was 2016. We are also unsure until when this hiring will be so here is now your chance to be a cabin crew of the Philippines's only 4-star carrier, Philippine Airlines!
Never ever ever crack a single bomb joke within the airport and most particularly inside an aircraft. Do not even bother to make a statement regarding a bomb as this is dealt with very seriously by authorities. It is dealt with very seriously that it can cause the Air Force to scramble fighter jets! This was exactly what happened last June 2 aboard a Scoot Airline flight from Cebu to Singapore.
