Tough situations never last, but tough people do. You all have that dream to be a flight attendant one day, hold on to it. Never ever let go of it, and do not allow anyone nor any situation, be it this pandemic, to ruin those dreams of yours to earn your wings one day. This dream and goal of yours to be a flight attendant is yours, hold it strong in your heart.
First of all, commercial aviation will be back, no matter what. It may take around two years or even more but definitely, it will recover. Airlines will start hiring again. For those who were laid-off due to this pandemic, you will definitely have that chance to get your wings back. Inter-connectivity is very important in the global economy and air transport is a huge contributor to this.
Despite the new normal, people will go back to visiting relatives abroad, taking a vacation in one of our islands, going on business trips, and returning back to the country for the holidays. Everything will return. Aviation will be back.
While it may take some time, use this time to improve yourself in order to qualify as a flight attendant once the airlines start hiring again. Try practicing for your interviews, we got a lot of guide questions here. Practice your posture, your make-up, the way you talk and deliver a speech, work on fixing your image and confidence, know the purpose of why you want to be a flight attendant and embrace it. Use this "break" to your advantage so that once the airlines start hiring again, you are ready.
If people try to dissuade you from being a cabin crew, you have the choice to just shun them away. Always remember, this is your dream, not theirs. This goal of yours to be a flight attendant is yours, and not theirs.
If you really really want to be a flight attendant, focus on becoming one in time. Nothing is impossible. Always remember that "IMPOSSIBLE" is "I'M POSSIBLE". Of course, the only time things may seem impossible is when you have the wrong attitude towards pursuing your dream to be a cabin crew. However if you have the right attitude, you will too one day get your wings.
So hold on to your dream to be a flight attendant. It will come. Don't rush it for the moment, instead, use this time to improve and be better. Defeat is temporary. It only becomes permanent once your give up.
