This morning, Mom and Dad thought I'd be flying to Macau. Little did they know that I'd be attending to their flight as one of the Cabin crew assigned going to Tacloban. As the plane took off, I couldn’t help but feel emotional because it suddenly came to me all the sacrifices my parents did for me; from the day they sent me to school up to this point that I am now living my dreams. Everything just felt surreal.
I could still remember the time when I and my parents would offer prayer petitions together to St. Claire, St. Jude, Padre Pio, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, and Black Nazarene for my Board Exam and for my flying career. Thank you, Lord for using me as an instrument so my Mom could visit her parents in Tacloban.
To my Mommy and Daddy, thank you for believing in me; in my capabilities. You both are the reasons why I turned my dreams into reality. Thank you for the unwavering love and support in all ways possible. I love you Mommy and Daddy
I realized God has a reason why I had to wait, and why I had to encounter all rejections and failures along the way.
To all aspirants out there, just continue dreaming. Give your best in all ways possible to reach them, but above all, lay your dreams to the hands of God, do it with Him.
As Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Remember, if it’s meant for you, it will happen for the right reason and purpose
