You'd be surprised how much you can have in common with someone completely different from you. This might sound cliché but even though Van and I have different interests in life, we both share the same dream of becoming flight attendants. Basically, Van is half- German, while I am half- French. She's a Med Tech grad, while I, loved Biology.
We both had our college in Dumaguete City. In 2012, in an aquaintance party at our University, we met. Later on, we became a couple. Two years ago, we flew to Manila to fulfill our childhood dreams.
Applying was not as easy as we thought. There were rejections. We wanted to figure out what exactly went wrong. Both of us then decided to enroll with WCC Flight Attendant School in Maginhawa St. in Quezon City. Then we realized what were lacking and what needed to be enhanced.
Defying all odds, we are now full-fledged cabin crew working for the same company. Working, flying and travelling together not only strengthened our relationship but it also helped us grow as individuals.
As the saying goes “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life”. Now just imagine doing that with the person you love. Its everything you could ever ask for.
In partnership with WCC Flight Attendant School.
