Your dream of being in a cabin crew uniform is within your reach. I will again reiterate that every flight attendant once had that goal of becoming a cabin crew one day. Where are they today? They are now here, flying the skies, wearing their uniform. I remember when I was on my last year of high school (in the 90s, it was 1st to 4th year high school then college), I had always been wanting to go to college at the University of Asia and the Pacific.
People thought, "ang tindi nito mangarap" and "hindi ka bagay dyan". Yes to me who was a repeater in high school and had average grades, going to such challenging and hard school seemed like a dream. I wanted to go to UA&P because it was the only university that time that was offering the course I had always wanted, Entrepreneurial Management.
Despite all the discouragement and challenges, I really told my parents that my first choice was UA&P for college. When I was applying, I only applied at 5 colleges namely, Ateneo, DLSU, DLSU-CSB, UST, and UA&P. If incase I don't make it, my fall back would be ADMU then DLSU, but I really really wanted UA&P.
I failed to pass the ADMU entrance test but I passed DLSU. Entering UA&P was a challenge that time but despite that, I did work hard to achieve that goal. I thought I would not make it until finally, I was called informing me that I made it! Now, I am proud to say that with all the sheer hard work, focus, dedication, and of course, intense prayers, I graduated from my dream school, UA&P finishing with a Bachelor in Science Major in Entrepreneurial Management!
What am I saying here? If you really want something, you will do all to achieve it no matter how hard and challenging things may be. If you really really want to be a flight attendant, wear the uniform, and take on the huge responsibilities that go with it, you too can achieve it with hard work, dedication, prayers, and commitment to never give up.
Try to work towards your dream to be a flight attendant by thinking that there is no other choice but that. Yes I did put fall back schools because finishing college for me was a priority but I wanted UA&P badly and I told myself that by hook or by crook, I will graduate there.
Yes, you will one day wear that flight attendant uniform if only you just focus, believe, work hard, never give up, and pray. Have faith in yourself and your prayers. God does not just answer prayers like some low standard magic, He will answer them in ways you can never imagine, ways that will make you say WOW!
So believe that one day, you will be a flight attendant and you will wear the uniform!
