Why not? Why stop yourself from pursuing your once dream to be a flight attendant? Others told you so? Well allow me to tell you why you should pursue your dream to be a cabin crew. First of all, it is your dream to be a cabin crew, and not anyone else. Basically that is the most important. Trust me, those who will tell you not be a cabin crew are most of the time, those who never became one.
Yes being paid to fly and visit other countries is a benefit of the job that many look forward to but there are other more important reasons why you should pursue your dream to be a flight attendant.
The first reason why you should pursue your dream to be a cabin crew is that there is no better feeling in this world than knowing how you have served and helped others. Becoming a cabin crew is all about service being of service to others. You ensure the safety of passengers. You make sure that they are comfortable throughout the flight. If they end of loving your service especially if you went out of your way to help them, the level of fulfillment is simply beyond cloud 9. Nothing comes close to being of service to others.
Second, you do not only grow in your career, you grow as a person. It is hard to become a cabin crew and throughout the process, you discover more about yourself. You learn new things and you develop habits that will help you even on your daily lives. You learn the importance of hard work, time management, dedication, and so much more. Cabin crew training will indeed mold you in so many ways, and by the time you become a cabin crew, you will really see how much better you have become.
Third, you learn to appreciate the beauty of life. As you visit other countries, as you discover cultures, as you deal with different passengers and personalities, you will indeed learn that there is just so much beauty and color in life. You will learn to see life in a different perspective in a broader view. Yes to travel is a benefit of the job but think also about how this will affect and touch your life in a very positive way.
So go out there and pursue your flight attendant dream. Do not allow others to dictate your future. God gave you the freedom to make decisions for your own life so go do it. Become a flight attendant. It is your dream, so go and fly!
Good luck future cabin crew!
