Five more days and 2019 will come to a close. So this 2020, how many of you now has a New Year's resolution of "I will become a flight attendant?" I am pretty sure many of you are truly excited to turn your cabin crew dream into a reality. In the same way, I am excited to see you send us your pictures in uniform, but, how ready are you to turn this dream into a reality? How confident are you that 2020 will be the year you will finally fly?
If you are still not so confident, that's okay, here are some things to do:
Readying yourself to become a flight attendant is not just about preparing to apply, literally. This entail a lot of preparation and changes for the upcoming year. If you had been applying since the start of 2019 or even before that, then you must be ready for 2020 as we are pretty sure you have learned a lot from the experience. Well, assuming you have really improved yourself. Becoming a flight attendant is not only a number game where you apply and apply without making improvements and learning from the experience. This is not like lotto. You are assured to get this for as long as you have the right attitude, especially when the going gets tough.
Ready yourself also by investing in knowledge and skills. This January 25, Team It's a Crewlife is holding a one-day conference for aspiring flight attendants and future generation cabin crew entitled "The Journey Begins: A 5-Pillar Conference". This one day seminar is spearheaded by known speakers in the airline industry namely Amor Maximo, Mayie Carballo, Yna Ramos, Yanni Reynoso, and our own Mond Ortiz who will guide you to gain that confidence and to make you ready to become a flight attendant this 2020. This is happening at the Savoy Hotel, Newport Manila.
