Many of our aspiring cabin crew are looking forward to a bright 2019! To many of them, it is a chance to turn their flying dreams into a reality. For some too, it is another chance to earn their wings after numerous turn-downs and rejections during the past year. Indeed, air travel is growing and the need for more cabin crew is definitely going up.
To be a trending cabin crew is being more than just one with good looks. You have to be someone who must have made an impact to passengers or to others, one who must have made your whole airline proud, one who is a friend to all your peers and colleagues, one who can be considered as the airline clown, or even so, someone who have created change. This 2018, we now bring you our Most Trending Filipino Cabin Crew based on our social media shares and likes.

In a little over a day, the most wonderful time of the year shall come. Today, I had a quick chat with a friend flying to Honolulu. I said “Boarding na haha Merry Christmas!” His reply was “haha Nang inggit ang nasa lupa (land)! Merry Christmas, Mayie! Enjoy the holidays!” Sent him back a message “Ay mejjjjj namimiss ko na nga sa ulap (cloud) haha May mga VIPs ka pa on-board haha You, too, have fun. Happy Holidays!”
It's that most wonderful time of the year indeed. A time of giving, sharing, celebrations, reunions, and happiness. Three more days until Christmas day. We now ask some of our flight attendants from various airlines what their Christmas wishes are and here are their message and wishes.
Christmas is a very much celebrated season in the Philippines. It is a time of reunions where family members in other countries return to their motherland, the Philippines, to celebrate Noche Buena. Christmas in the Philippines is known to be the longest celebrated Christmas in the world, where everything begins once the "Ber" months kick-in. For our flight attendants, it is a season they do look forward to also, to spend time with their families.
Jollibee is known for releasing viral short films about love, family, and acceptance as their content marketing strategy. One of these is a viral video entitled "Fight or Flight", basically a love story between a flight attendant and a passenger. The short film has gained 2.5 million views in just two weeks due to the love story involved in the scene that got many viewers "kilig", even flight attendants themselves.
When flight attendants say that they are tired and they would rather sleep, believe us, they mean it. Yes we do understand that all jobs are tiring at one point but that of a flight attendant is more than just being tired no matter how glamorous things may seem. It can be tiring both physically and emotionally and this is something we should understand why they say it is a sin to disrupt a flight attendant's sleep after a day's flying duty.
